Entschieden hatte ich mich für das absolut göttlich aussehende Kirscheis mit Mandeln und weißer Schokolade. Ein wenig inspiriert auch von meinem Mann, der seit Wochen Kirschen am laufenden Band futtert.

I am a teacher and writer. I teach medieval literature at the University of Bonn, and write about literature, food, immigration, and dance. I studied at the University of Toronto and at Yale, was a visiting scholar at Columbia, and began my career at Southern Methodist University. Before coming to Bonn I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Freie Universität Berlin for two years.
